Gone, baby, gone!

Well, there really is no excuse for leaving you all alone for so long, is there? Life has definitely been busy.

We had of course Halloween, and that was filled with fun and candy. Had a great time with the witches at Gardner Village! I was Helga, the witch on vacation - I was a sand-witch! Ba-dum-bum! It was a lot of fun!

This other pic is my friend Chemayne, she was so dang cute, and has the funniest laugh, and I caught this pic as she was laughing at something Sherene said. Isn't she a doll?

Christian was a cute pink poodle, and we got some cute pics with Dal, Grandma, and Les at the school parade.

We also had a cute outfit for Scout that I really think fit. Can you tell what he is? - Yes sirree, the devil. And he is that some days. Isn't he darling though?

We have been trying to get a bunch of stuff done to get Colton off on his mission. He had his temple day, and we had a big party here at the house.

Then of course it was Twilight - crazy weeks - I feel like all I did for about a week was sleep and work. But it was a successful show. Yeah for the theater!

Then I had to get ready for Thanksgiving (all I had to do were pies-which I love anyway), which was nice because we ate at Rod & Judie's - very nice. Our downstairs missionaries joined us for 1 of their 4 meals planned for the day. We chuckled at how very little they ate.

Then that same weekend, we had Coltons farewell (he is going to India), and Klynton's eagle scout courtgof honor. (for pics of him and Klynton, click on Les' blog on the right of mine) - This is Christian ready for church. Check out the cute little pantaloons Gram made for her, and then went and found a matching dress. - Adorable!!!

And, amongst all that, Christmas shopping, and also, my sweet Mom has been coming over almost every day to help me organize that mountain of crap that came out of my office closet (it was kind of like that proverbial bowling ball closet) and we successfully reduced it down to 7 banker boxes, and some accordian files. I now have all my theater years, and our home stuff organized. WHEW! I'm even caught up to my current. I had it all spread out in the big room and people would come in and ask, "Holy cow, what blew up in here?" It was crazy for a while. But Christmas will be clean at least. Oh, and we decorated our homes of course. Do you all feel this way? It just goes from one thing to another. Crazy, crazy....

We also had our sweet Scooby die on thw 10th. She was 16 years, and 4 months old. She was one of the sweetest, gentle dogs I've known, and I will miss her terribly. She died in my arms at home, on her own, and I miss and love her. she is buried with Scooter in the backyard. (She's the one lying there choking Scout in the scissor hold. Scooter is above her. We miss him too.) Well, I think that's about the scoop. Hope all is well for y'all. We love you. Sorry its been so long. Merry Christmas! I'll try to get back before then.

I love that you were a Sand-witch, how hilarious. Christian's pantaloon are the most adorable thing I think I've ever seen. I am so sorry that Scooby passed away. I totally remember when you guys got that dog - has it really been 16 years? Crazy! Well, take care and good to hear about everything going on.

Ok, I had to cry a little when I read about Scooby, Zeus is an orphan now. Glad everything else is going great. Looks like lots of fun. Now can you come help me organize my house? It will only take a month or so so bring Christian and we will party. Matt will have to hold down the fort.
